Every day over 800 children die from avoidable illnesses brought on by contaminated water.

People without access to clean water have to walk an average of 6 kilometers to gather water every day, and sometimes multiple times per day.

On top of being exposed to the negative impact of unclean water, this takes up so much time each day that they cannot go to school or earn a better living.

Participants may run, jog, walk, skate, or bike the 6K. Each registration provides clean water for one person.

Registration includes a t-shirt and a race bib that has the picture of a child you are walking for.

---No, you do not need to be a runner. You can walk, bike, or skate your 6K

-Can I bring a stroller for my child?
--Yes, of course you can! Bonus points if you have them wear orange!

-Is there a cost to register?
--Yes, there is a cost to register. Child registration costs less than adults, and there may occasionally be promotional codes put out by World Vision. For your registration fee you'll receive a t-shirt, racing bib with a child's picture, and a medal. You will also get your own fundraising page to ask friends and family to donate to which can lead to earned incentives for you
